X RECTOIFOLIA

This natural hybrid - Tillandsia ionantha x schiedeana was given the species name of T. x rectifolia. This has been in collections for a long time. Grows easily and pups well. It is green until blooming when it can blush red. The flowers are typical of all T. schiedeana hybrids in that they are bicolored, white at the top and light purple at the base.
